Happy New Month!!! Welcome to August! 🎉 May this new month bring you rest, laughter, growth, and good news in every direction for you and yours.

How was July for you, friend? (I'd really like to hear how it was for you so hit that reply button ;)

For me, July was a turning point. Nothing grand or world-shaking, but I did something: made a 180-degree turn in the right direction. I showed up intentionally in July with the help of God because the truth is that no one is coming to save me.

We become by becoming; step by step, choice by choice. I stopped striving for control, and I started focusing on what was within my control (which is hard for me, I won't lie). I left in God's hands the rest, because honestly, mi o le waku. 😅

One thing that anchored me last month was a verse from James 1:17. If I'm ever in doubt of God's nearness or His faithfulness, it's not because He moved. It's because I did. It reminded me that God hasn't changed, and He never will. He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. Steady, and faithful.

If July was messy or difficult for you, I hope you still found ways to show up for yourself, even just a little. If you didn't, that's okay too. The beauty of this journey is that we're allowed to begin again, as many times as we need to.

So here's to August: a fresh start or continued momentum, a softer heart, and the God who never turns, even when we do.
